NSF Awards inSoma $1M Grant to Evaluate Fractomer’s Potential in Facial Fat Grafting

NIH Awards inSoma $250K to Evaluate Fractomer’s Potential to Improve Skin Grafting

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded inSoma a $250,000 grant to explore an exciting early phase potential additional regenerative reconstruction application for inSoma’s proprietary recombinant elastin-based biomaterial Fractomer™️ – as an effective, lower-cost skin grafting support matrix for the treatment of severe burn wounds.

NCBiotech Awards inSoma $500K Strategic Growth Funding

The North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech) has awarded inSoma $500,000 strategic growth funding to advance InSoma’s Fractomer™️ product through early commercialization, including the scale up of GMP production, the completion of preclinical studies, and the finalization of reimbursement and regulatory strategies for follow-on trials.  This funding builds on the initial $250,000 NCBiotech provided in 2020. NCBiotech funding is an impactful source of support for North Carolina-based bioscience research, technology and entrepreneurship, and inSoma is grateful to be a part of the NCBiotech investment portfolio.
